Brewer's Sparrow - Wilbarger Co., December 26, 2011. The two records on this page may represent the only two observations of this species in North-central Texas, The entire 2011 year was one of extreme drought. Several western species were observed in the study area over the course of that year, including Black-throated Sparrow, Sagebrush Sparrow, and Brewer's Sparrow.
