Semipalmated Sandpiper - Adult and Juvenile

Juvenile shows neatly scaled feathers across the back with rufous tones. Feather edges are neat and new.

Adult shows worn breeding plumage (dark feathers with ragged edges) and is molting into winter plumage (new gray feathers).
