Neotropic Cormorant

Uncommon to rare through most of the area. Most sightings are from summer, but there are reports from every month. Pulich (1988) reports nesting in Archer County (but should be looked for elsewhere around area lakes). During the breeding season, this species has been known to nest with other colonial nesters such as Great Blue Herons.
