Harris's Hawk

Pulich (1988), mentions that most records for the area should be scrutinized carefully because of the hawk rehabilitators and falconers that have had this species in their possession. At least one record was discarded because of the tameness of the bird. Having said that, this species is certainly plausible in the area. The records that are available are scattered and not well documented.
